There is a book. Tis called Wings and was written by Aprilynne Pike. Tis about Faeries, etc. Tis very, very good.
The good:
-There be a sequal coming out - "Spells"
-There be a movie coming out

The bad:
-Tis to be made by the same people who stuffed up twilight.
-Tis to star MILEY CYRUS!!!!!
